Discover what is in the soil and what is necessary for healthy plants. Dissect various seeds found around the farm and discuss the difference in native vs. invasive species. Plan a garden based upon seed requirements.

Learn how to stay safe on the farm and what tools are most often used. We will cover basic first aid, electrical, water, and storm safety. Students will make and take home their own first aid kit!

Learn how the government plays a role in agriculture and how tomorrow's election can affect the future of farming.

Students will learn how to live a healthy lifestyle, then plan and prepare a healthy meal. Weather permitting, we will do it all outside!
** This is an extended course offered on Saturday. Families are welcome to attend!

It's the holiday season and we're preparing for all the meals! Students will learn how to use the foods available from the farm to complement a meal and budget for the items they need to purchase. Manners and food safety will also be covered. There will be a taste test at the end!

During the winter months, the garden can seem desolate. Learn how that is not the case, and a thriving ecosystem still exists! We'll create a special treat for the animals trying to survive the winter months.

The holiday season is upon us, but nature offers gifts every day. Can you spot them? We will use nature's winter bounty to create a gift for someone special!
